Better times...

So July was crappy in many aspects of my life but August showed some turn around. I'm in better spirits right now even with some lingering issues that will hopefully will be resolved soon enough. I would like to thank my family, friends, and loved ones for showing their concern and care for me. It really made my problems easier to deal with having such a great support system. You guys truly mean the world to me and I appreciate every bit of it.

As I mentioned in my previous blog, starting September things will be almost at stand still besides a few rescheduled shoots. I will only participate in paid shoots, fashion shows, or publishable work. Meanwhile I'm going to start focusing on my design projects and hopefully get some pieces done by October. Hopefully I will have a site up and running by the end of the year.

If you guys would like to work with me, feel free to contact me but just be aware of my situation.

Again thank you again to those who were showing their concern for me. I feel fortunate to have kind people in my life as it hasn't always been that way.

Dark July

Well my summer started off awesome in June. But a series of terrible events occurred in July for me affecting my life in many ways including my modeling. I apologize for the lack of updates due to all of this.

I have some schedule shoots coming up in August and September. However I will stress that starting September, I can no longer participate in TF shoots unless you travel to me or you provide wardrobe along with props as well as gas compensation. Gas compensation for any shoots is highly appreciated.
My monthly budget for shoots has completely shrunk down to almost nothing and therefore I cannot afford TF even if I wanted to. My rates are reasonable and I'm willing to negotiate. I'm truly sorry to those photographers who cannot themselves afford to pay models. Many of you are my friends and others I simply want to work with for their great talents. But unfortunately right now I'm in a tough spot in my life and I have to focus whats more important.

In the mean time, I will experiment with my own photography and hopefully have the funds to continue my other creative projects.

Life is a roller coaster and right now its all down hill.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been so busy traveling everywhere and working.

Recently had some great shoots. Did another shoot with Brittany Taylor and had my makeup done by Lauren OJea who definitely is one of the best I've worked with. The makeup looked killer. Unfortunately it had to rain during the shoot so it was cut short but regardless we were able to pull off some awesome photos and I will post them very soon.

Also did a shoot yesterday with Lauren Farrington again out in Amherst. We did some nin-related concepts as well as some steam punk. I'm psyched to see the photos as I put a lot of effort with the outfits, accessories, and concept in general. I hope to find the time to continue making accessories and little wardrobe pieces and props but with work hours being extensive during the summer it will be a challenge for sure.

In the fall starting September I will be booking only a few shoots a month doing paid work or work to showcase some of my creations. TF will be very limited and reserved for those who have been contacting me the past months and I haven't had the chance to fit into my busy schedule. I apologize to those who couldn't fit into my summer dates. My schedule fills up rather quickly once I start booking. If you would like to work with me in the fall, contact me in August.

So far my Spring/Summer modeling has been on a great start. Shot with Dustin early in May, and then with Kris Rodammer a week later. We did some sick post-apocalyptic high fashion editorial type of stuff. Michelle Connolly did my hair and makeup! She's super talented, professional, and quick. Can't wait to process the photos and post them up. I have an upcoming shoot with Christopher Lee Donovan who I have been a fan for years now. His photoshop skills definitely blows my mind. I'm also working from time to time with my boy Kilo Alexander. Check out his work! He's a fantastic band photographer and I recommend him for any project! More shoots in June, July and August as well! Can't wait!

In the meantime I'm hoping to have some time if any to play around with photography, clothing and accessory design, and perhaps my website.

I'm also probably taking a week off sometime the end of July or beginning of August. Hope to book a few shots during that time to some awaiting photographers.

Happiness

I'm done with traveling for now. Been playing catch up with errands and school. Found some new happiness in my life. Now its time to get back into modeling for the summer.

This Saturday I look forward to working with Dustin Genereux. Its been a long time coming and I know we will produce some sweet images.

May is pretty much booked up. I'm currently scheduling for June and July right now. I plan on doing mostly outdoor work but I do have some indoor concepts. I've been collecting random wardrobe pieces and props whenever I see some good deals. Currently I want to do more steampunk, post-apocalyptic, and military themed editorial or creative work. Of course I enjoy working with wardrobe designers and stylists. I also hope to do more duo shoots so models let me know if you would like to work together some time.

If time permits, I will try to create some pieces along with my yarn falls.

Hey all,

I had a lovely shoot with the talented Brittanny Taylor this past Saturday. It was a collaboration with a fantastic fashion designer Cyrahn and makeup/hair stylist Miss Carnage. I really was glad to be a part of this shoot as I enjoy working with others. I look forward to the shots and hope to post them when I return the end of this month or in May.

So May is coming up soon and I have some shoots booked. I do have some dates available but June as of now is wide open. Feel free to contact me if interested in working together. As I state on model mayhem I'm partipating in limited TF*.

Because of the nicer weather, I want to do mostly outdoor shoots. I'm not interested in studio work unless you have access to a nice set.

Short break

Hello all.

I had a fun weekend shooting with a couple of awesome photographers. Saturday I was able to work with the talented Krystal of Cannibalized once again. We did a little bit of steam punk and a little bit of horror and the pictures are amazing as always.

Sunday I worked with Michael of In Balance Photography, who is also a pleasure to work with. We did some spider inspired concepts and something fun at the end. I'm excited to play around with some of the photos in photoshop.

I will be posting the shots soon as I post photos in chronological order. Due to errors on modelmayhem and work, I'm a bit behind in posting photos. So I apologize to photographers in advance for the slow uploads. But soon enough the pics will be displayed on mm and my other sites.

From now til May, I will be doing one or two shoots if that. I'm done for this month and I might have something planned in April that I'm looking forward to. But otherwise with some big travels plans, I will be away on the weekends. So when contacting me please keep this in mind.

When I return to a busy shooting schedule in May, I definitely want to take advantage of the nice weather and do some on location shooting but of course if you have a cool indoor location or furniture in mind, I would be happy to work with that as well.

Here are some the themes I'm interested for the spring and summer as of now:

I have other ideas as well that don't really fall into any of these categories. But if you have some cool props, locations, or wardrobe that match any of these themes, let me know, I also love to collaborate and do anything creative and unique.

Hey all,

Last weekend was a blast. I was happy to be a part of the New Designer's Fashion Show down in Providence Friday night modeling for Sisters of the Moon and Latex Nemesis. Its always nice to catch up with the crew as I know I have been hiding lately. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay for the rest of the show or the dance party after that.

I went to Jaded out in Lowell Saturday. It was a nice change to go out since I haven't had the motivation for the past few months. I saw a lot of familiar faces and danced tons. There was a little leggings fashion show which was such a blast. One of my friends was hosting the after party which was awesome as well. I was so glad I came out. It was just what I needed.

As for shoots, I'm doing a couple this weekend and a few in March. However from the mid of March to the end of April I will be traveling out of the country for some work related seminars. By the time I return I hope to book a bunch of shoots as the weather will finally be permitting. Feel free to message me soon about booking in May.

The New Year and what I want to do with it...

The past few months I haven't done a lot of scheduling like I have been in the past due to several reasons. I will be picking up the modeling when Spring rolls in. I have some expensive plans in March and April which will mean I have to limit the number of TF* shoots I do in those months.

During that time and thereafter, I'm mostly interested in elaborate projects based on my ideas, a collaboration project, or an idea the photographer would like to have me be a part of. I still have many ideas I want to try out but they involve a lot of props, wardrobe, makeup, etc. I prefer doing something like that with someone I have already worked with because at least I know how we work together. Also I would like to schedule something like that months in advance in order to bring together all the necessary pieces.

As for photographers I have never worked with, I usually try my best to still come up with interesting ideas based on the wardrobe and props I have on hand. I have a huge collection of stuff and can manage a spontaneous idea that will work. However I also like to hear the photographer's creative input. Also if the photographer has a cool location, props, or wardrobe I can definitely develop a solid plan of ideas.

I'm still interested in working with wardrobe stylists and designers, hair stylists and so on for some fun projects. Also I enjoy doing fashion shows and have done plenty in the past.

Currently I'm editing and processing some photos from recent shoots and hope to have them all posted on my sites soon enough. Check out my deviant art page for my extensive portfolio. I also hope to redo my website, develop a separate facebook account, and other online projects I'm currently working on. Finally whenever I have the time, I'm creating wardrobe pieces, accessories, and props which I hope to spend more time doing and make use of in my shoots.

The New Year: 2010

Hello. Thanks for reading my blog. As many of you probably have noticed, I have not been very active online the past weeks during my winter break. Between catching up with friends, doing a couple of shoots, holiday related activities, and organizing my place, I had little to no time to really spend time on the computer editing or updating any of my sites.

I still have some more work to do organizing my extensive wardrobe, props, accessories, etc, etc. Its amazing how much stuff I have accumulated during my two years of modeling. A lot of memories of shoots and fun times were remembered.

I did two shoots during my break one with my pal Brian James out in Methuen and one out in Amherst with Lauren Farrington. Brian is always fun to work with. He's very good with makeup and even hair. We did some awesome conceptual ideas. Lauren is a sweetheart. We were able to use a cool location and did a couple of concepts. I don't want to give too much away so look out for the photos!

For this New Year, I hope to continue working with the photographers I have formed nice relationships with and have really added a lot to my portfolio. I also would like to work with new photographers or people I have not yet worked with. I really wish I could travel outside of New England but being a poor grad student that isn't possible. But if someone is willing to pay for it all, I'm down for it of course.

As for scheduling, it will be very limited for the next several months until Spring. I will make a separate blog soon on scheduling, ideas, and so on.

Conceptual ideas

I have a long list of conceptual ideas I want to start working on next month. Many of them involve some specific editing styles. Some are inspired by song lyrics, emotions, movie scenes and quotes. Conceptual meaning not just a simple photo of me doing a pose nor a theme photo that you often see in my port. Some of these ideas are a bit beyond reality and more on the artistic side of things. These concepts should speak a certain message rather than another photo added to my portfolio. I did something like this with one of my favorite photographers Cannibalized for my Broken Time concept.

Anyways if you are someone who would like to work with me on some of these that would be great. Often these ideas involve a lot of communication and collaboration to really get the concept down. Some of the concepts are rather simple and others involve either a lot scenery, makeup, wardrobe or editing. Feel free to shoot me a message if interested.

Cutting done

I had an awesome shoot with Images by Darkside. Didn't use any blood but the photos rock without it. Currently I'm trying to post a bunch of photos in chronological order. But you will see some of these soon enough.

Unfortunately due to some financial troubles, I have to cut the number of TF I do the next couple of months. My rates are very reasonable and a portion will be used toward the shoot. Travel expenses are also highly appreciated.

Besides being paid though, I would like to participate in more elaborate projects with several people such as hair and wardrobe stylists. I have done this in the past and its a lot of fun and the photos almost always come out super awesome. I have a ton of ideas in mind, in fact 9 pages now but they involve very sophisticated wardrobe, props, locations, etc. If you are interested, let me know and we can work together on some of my ideas as well as yours.

Also because of the cold season rapidly approaching, I understand most of us will be back in the studio. But if you have some furniture pieces, props, or indoor locations you have access to that would be awesome. Also if you have anything unusual, let me know. I'm pretty good at thinking of an idea on the fly and sometimes the weirdest things make awesome props for a shoot.

Finally if you are willing to travel to me or are only minutes away, I'm willing to do TF as long as we have some good ideas in mind and the work will add to my portfolio. Of course if we have worked in the past for TF, I will be happy to do it again.

Maine Part 2

Off to Maine again to shoot with Images by Darkside . Looking forward to it! Its a long drive but because I use to go there every summer as a kid for vacation it brings back nice memories and the scenery is beautiful. I think after my shoot I might just drive to a few spots and enjoy it while I can.

We're going to play with some blood and glamour. It will be a fun time! Going to play with the hair a little bit as well!

I know a lot of people are wondering why I haven't posted their pics yet. Its simply because I'm busy. My life has been so hectic lately between photoshoots and research. I have crazy 12 hr shifts during the week and by the time I get home I pass out. And then more shoots on the weekends. I have a ton of edits to catch up on as well. Somewhere among the madness I try to go out a little and enjoy myself but I don't have much time for that either. Its to the point where my family, boss, and friends are worried about me. Luckily at the end of this month I'm taking a week off to just relax a little bit, do some chores, and hopefully catch up with everything else. I do have some shoots scheduled but at least I will be well rested. After that in November and December I'm planning on doing very limited amount of shoots unless its paid and/or will add absolutely amazing shots to my portfolio. So if you want to do TF, please feel free to shoot me a message but also keep that in mind. I would like to hear your ideas or your feedback on any of mine.

Eyeful Beauty Hair Fashion Show

Saturday night I was part of the Eyeful Beauty Hair Fashion show in Lowell at Jaded. I was quite exhausted from traveling from Maine from my shoot with Eyeball Imagery and still was feeling ill but I still had a lot of fun. Christina who did my hair and makeup did an amazing job.

There was also a jewelery designer there who made some awesome stuff. I hope to do more shoots with crazy hair and makeup. Hair is always challenging for me and I often throw on a wig or a pair of hair falls but I would like to do some more teased out hair. If you are a hair stylist reading this or know some hair stylists who would like to work together on some projects that would be a lot of fun.
